Okto sempat membuat kehebohan dengan berada di mess Persib Bandung.
Namun kedatangan Okto menimbulkan sedikit permasalahan. Ada kabar berhembus bahwa Okto tidak diundang.
Okto pun langsung memberikan penjelasan mengenai persoalannya.
Mantan winger Timnas Indonesia, Oktovianus Maniani, menjelaskan duduk perkara mengapa dirinya berada di Persib Bandung. Kini dia pun berharap ada kejelasan akan permasalahan dirinya dengan Persib.
Okto sempat membuat kehebohan dengan berada di mess Persib Bandung. Bahkan dia sudah ikut berlatih pemulihan fisik atas instruksi asisten pelatih Persib Bandung, Fernando Soler.
Namun kedatangan Okto menimbulkan sedikit permasalahan, yakni dengan beredarnya kabar adanya kesalahpahaman yang menyatakan dirinya tidak diundang untuk datang ke Persib Bandung.
Padahal pemain asal Papua ini menuturkan datang ke Bandung setelah sebelumnya dihubungi oleh seseorang sehingga pada sore hari ia langsung bergabung dan berlatih di tim berjuluk Maung Bandung.
Terkait hal ini pun mantan pemain Persiba Balikpapan angkat bicara. Dia pun menjabarkan duduk permasalahan sesungguhnya.
"Saya mau klarifikasi soal salah paham yang beredar di media antara saya dengan Persib Bandung. Saya ke Bandung karena dihubungi oleh agen yang diminta oleh salah satu petinggi Persib," ucap Okto kepada INDOSPORT.
"Saya juga sudah ikut latihan fitnes dan sauna. Tapi malamnya saya dapat berita dari pengurus Persib melalu agen bahwa saya dikatakan tidak usah latihan dulu karena ada masalah," jelas dia.
Okto sendiri merasa bingung akan masalah yang dijabarkan. Ia dinilai memiliki masalah kepribadian yang buruk di luar lapangan.
"Katanya ada masalah terkait surat keluar dari Madura FC. Bahkan dikabarkan saya sudah kontrak dengan Madura dan menghilang karena ke Persib."
"Lalu ada postingan alkohol di medsos yang dijadikan masalah atittude saya. Jadi karena itu semua saya disuruh keluar dari mess," beber dia.
Kini dengan permasalahan ini, Okto pun berharap mendapat kejelasan. Dia juga sudah tak terlihat berlatih bersama Persib. Kini dia ingin agar masalah ini segera selesai tanpa merugikan semua pihak.
"Ya tentu saya berharap ini semua segera jelas. Saya juga menjaga nama baik saya, karena kalau seperti ini saya tidak enak. Kedepan juga supaya tidak ada masalah salah paham antara Persib, Madura FC dan saya sendiri," tutup dia.
